Individual Therapy

Individual therapy services include face-to-face and telehealth options for adolescents and adults seeking to identify their mental health challenges and work on therapeutic goals to improve their quality of life. Treatment for anxiety, depression and peer and family relationships are just a few of the presenting concerns that are addressed in individual therapy. Self Mental Health acknowledges the differences in each individual and provides an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing techniques that are personally centered around the client.

Group Therapy

Group Services are tailored for individuals to connect through shared experiences, and provides a space for social support, problem solving and kill development. Self Mental Health is available to facilitate these services covering a wide variety of topics targeting populations such as adolescents, women and parents to aid in mental wellness. Group therapy programs are typically a 6-8 week commitment.

Family Counseling

Family Counseling address various stressors that occur within a family by examining the group dynamics within a family. Family counseling aims to provide families with better communication, and pew, improve skills for handling tough transitions, problematic patterns of behavior, and provide a sense of safety and security for all family members. It’s helpful to see what dynamics are occurring in the family.

Trauma -Focus Therapy

Trauma - Focus Therapy is a specific approach to therapy that recognizes and emphasizes understanding how the traumatic experience impacts a child’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This type of therapy is rooted in understanding the connection between the trauma experience and the child’s emotional and behavioral responses.

Marital Counseling


Marital Counseling can give you and your partner the opportunity to discuss and resolve issues related to several aspects of your relationship. Self Mental Health provides pre-marital and marital counseling.

Premarital Counseling

Premarital counseling is for couples who have a plan to get married. Premarital Counseling is broad so you can bring any concerns related to marriage to be discussed and we can help guide you through the problem, work on essential skills, and grow as a couple. Premarital counseling focuses on three core areas: developing communication skills, identifying potential conflict areas, and learning how to properly confront and handle those troubles.

Workshops

Workshops are available for schools, corporations non-profit and governmental agencies per request. Workshops cover a variety of topics such as wellness, social-emotional learning for educators, and ither workplace related concerns that aim to address the organizational needs and professional development.
